Family is the foundation of every individual. From the moment of our birth, we are cradled in the love of our mothers and fathers, who, without salary or obligation, care for us. We grow up in a home where we eventually contribute, until the day we come of age and take flight on our own. Yet, even at this stage, we remain forever the children of our parents, who will care for us until their last day and stand by our side to support us through life's journey. This is how life should unfold for everyone, but sadly, not everyone has a family, not everyone has parental support; many live alone, marginalized and often rejected by their community, clan, or village. For all those whose suffering is compounded by existential rejection, we have created the Bantu Nation, because even if we do not share the same biological parents, as Bantu people, we share the same ancestors, making us one large family, a community that supports, helps, and uplifts one another. The Bantu Nation is an inclusive family where mutual assistance is our daily mantra. If life is difficult alone, it is less so when we are accompanied. What I have, I share with everyone; what he or she has, they share with everyone. We advocate solidarity over the selfishness that plagues our people. We advocate for the pursuit of collective interest over individualistic interests. I suffer, you suffer, we suffer; though we may not be blood relatives, I accept you as my brother, and you as my sister, and I will ensure your happiness as you will ensure mine.
